Hetansh Desai's Zidd! is a story of two people- Vihaan and Parth. Both come from different background and different upbringing yet something is common between them. The book takes you on a ride with Vihaan and Parth on their ride to find and reach their ultimate goal.
Parth the son of a tea vendor wants to start a business from as long as he could remember and the Gujarati businessman father of Vihaan wants him to continue business studies, but he opts for Liberal Studies at SLS institute.
Vihaan falls in love with a girl named Raina who doesn't reciprocate his feelings, and he is adamant to make her fall in love with him. He wants to be on the hoarding in front of Raina's building to make her regret for not feeling for him. This Zidd! of his takes both Parth and Vihaan on a journey to discover themselves and find their happiness.
Will they be able to set up the hoarding? Will Raina fall in love with Vihaan? Will Parth ever get to do his business? This you will get to know after you read the book!

What I liked about the book?
Zidd! is a perfect blend of various emotions and relationships. It has feelings, love, passion, dedication, hard work, dreams, hope, desires and most importantly dreams. The concept of the book is genuine and retains the strength of the plot throughout the course. You get to observe the character development as you read more into the book. Both Vihaan and Parth are different characters possess different qualities but still connect on a level just as friends usually do! The other characters are also not neglected in the book and play an equally vital role to provide the required push to the main characters of the book. The book unapologetically uses inappropriate slangs that adds to the flavor of the book. Hindi dialogues at times add to the essence of the book.
What I did not like about the book?
I loved reading Zidd! But that been said there are a few things worth mentioning, firstly the book is a fast-paced book, and there is no harm in that but the plot at times doesn't explain certain things, so you just have to go with it. The book uses some inappropriate slangs as mentioned which may not be suitable for a bit younger audience.
Conclusion
Everything taken into consideration, the book is a great read. You can expect yourself to enjoy the journey with the characters of the book. The book is easy to go with and is written in a simple language. If you can ignore the facts mentioned in what I did not like about the book, then you can go ahead and buy the book.
