"We can never let go of our demons, but we can learn to make peace with them."
Finding the Magic in You is a self-help book. The book comprises of 34 different chapters talking about 34 different life situations that you and I deal with on an everyday basis. There are 18 chapters followed by a unique Journal that serves a particular purpose. The book is named so because in the book the author uses the power of magic to make people realize the potential within them. The book talks about self-love and finding peace.

What I liked about the book?
The book talks about a lot of relatable topics like relationships, career, jealousy, happiness, fear, friendship, growth, etc. Almost everyone relates to most if not all topics. There are various Journals in the book that help people to do a bit of soul-searching and help them to build a unique understanding of themselves. Each chapter starts with a question that we all often find ourselves asking and do not know the answer to. The content of each chapter solves the quest of answering that question. Below the question is a quote that is the key to solve the problem talked about in every chapter. The book is written in a simple language and hence maintains a flow throughout the reading process. The book is suitable for a younger audience and teenagers as well.
What I did not like about the book?
There is nothing in particular that I didn't like about this book, but still, certain things are worth mentioning. The things the book talks over the course of 34 chapters may be different, but over a period of time, the sentences become repetitive. The book also has some minor editing issues with some words but acceptable.
Conclusion
The book is a great pick for people looking for some positivity in their life. There is nothing bad with the book or nothing prominent that I didn't like apart from the repetitions but in self-help books esp for the younger audience, it is important to repeat and repeat to make them imply the positive in their lives.
