The Book Review

Before I start the Book Review, I want to thank Invincible Publishers for sending this book to me in exchange for an honest review.
A turbulent tale of love was a confusing book to me personally. I don't know how I feel about the book all I know is I am stuck between "not hating this book" and "not seeing it as an exceptional read."
Let's see what I think about the book.

What I liked about the book?

To begin with, the story is simple yet offers one or more twists and turns to interest the reader. The book is a pleasant read if you are a die-hard fan of the romance novels. The book not only works on the main plot but also blends in the sub-plots containing the supporting characters that too in a great way! The character of Neil is my personal favorite though it is not the main character in the book. The level of compassion Neil has for his friend is commendable but he still has the courage to confront him when he is wrong and this is what every friend should be like.

What I did not like about the book?

The book is based on two main characters Nihal and Rabani. Now where the character of Rabani was actually independent and loved by everyone and I didn't mind her to be the way she was, the character of Nihal swirled a lot of questions in my mind. Though it was a fiction and doesn't depict any real incidents still the character of Nihal was debatable.
The book was more like a Bollywood romance, that had romance, drama but a bit of unnecessary stretch as well.
The book was fast paced in the start and very stretched in the end. I would have liked if the things were a bit straightforward at least in the parts where it was getting too monotonic.

Conclusion

Being a debut novel it was a pleasant read. If you like romance novels like - I too had a love story, you may like reading this one as well. There was a phase I loved "I too had a love story" and if I had read this book during that phase may be I would have enjoyed the book better ( I still don't hate it).
The book was not bad but didn't serve as an exceptional read too!
If you are searching for a romance novel or are starting out to read then you can pick this book up.
But if you are not into dramatic romance novels then you won't enjoy the book that much.
